With Another

And as I see her in his arms,
My heart sinks in such alarm,
To think that I may never get my chance,
She still has me under her trance,

The love,
The beauty,
If only she was mine truly,
To be happy for her,
This is surely a curse,

That I shall suffer while she sings,
To never give her a wedding ring,
To never see her past eighteen,
It kills me to think she's with another,
When we so fondly thought of each other,

If only I had that chance now,
So I'll just die inside,
Thinking of the times I've cried,
Once again falling in despair,
Not even close enough to stroke her hair,
She's happy with another,
Yet we thought so fondly of each other
