My Broken Heart

My broken heart will never mend
with all the pain you have to send,
pain that feels like splitting wrists,
wrists that will not heal.

But have no care 
for why should you?
It's not your fault 
it's mine
for even thinking that I could be yours, 
but the winds will change in time.

So for now goodbye my dear old friend
with all the pain who has to send,
but it won't be long before you feel                 my broken heart that never mends.
