I saw u crossing the road , 
dressed from tip to toe 
u were holding book in your hand,
u looked above and we exchanged the glimpses,

I felt something but didn't know 
whether it was love or attraction,
I went back and realized that 
I had fallen in love with u,

I wished to tell u but I was afraid,
for u were the guy so handsome 
and I being just so simple,

I waited, I longed and I urged for you,
I wasn't sure whether u will be mine.
but u came and my life rejoiced,

we spent time, we sat, we chat.
we loved each other.
we made promises, u being so honest 
held my hand and hugged me tight.

I loved u since the first day 
but u didn't understand,
and now when you broke all those promises 
I'm all left in tears,

Earlier I was aloof but now
I find myself in hell.
Your broken promises pierced my heart 
and made me realize that the saying is right,
the saying that we never realize 
the worth of someone who is with us.

Why you did this I know not,
but you are the reason of my only tears
and that's true.
