Six Weeks
Danielle
25 Nov, 2012 01:35 AMWhy did you leave her, that girl you once knew? The one who said she would always love you. Remember that girl who had eyes so big, bright, and blue? Well now they’re just filled with tear residue. Today marks six weeks, since the day you said goodbye. Over a fucking text message, right? On her birthday you wrote her a song, It was so beautifully sung. That day you told her she’d always be the only one. Too bad she didn’t see that she was just a fool, For believing everything you said, like “I love you”. She knows you did her wrong, Yet she can’t help but feel alone. Still reminiscing over the thought of you. Now she realizes that deep down you’re a cold-blooded snake. Those green orbs always silently whispered the word fake. Her friends say, “Danielle, just get over him, he was never any good.” Her parents say, “He’s just a boy, too immature for manhood.” Easy for them to say, they don’t know you like she does. More like did. As if… When she passes you in the hallway, all you do is look away. Why is that, babe? You broke up with her, not the other way around. How could you be so cruel? Quit acting like a selfish little dick. That’s all I have to say. Goodbye and have a nice day.
