I wish

I wish I had wings,
So that I could fly,
I’d soar through the day,
And soar through night.

I would feel fright at first,
Then I’d feel so happy 
I could probably burst.

Let me explain how they’d look first,
The feathers would be light grey 
and get darker as it travels down,     
The tips of the wings would be black as night.
And They'd be a pair of 13 foot wings.

I’d fly for hours,
In the skies above,
I could fly to were I’d wanna go,
I could fly to a peaceful place.
Wherever that would be,

I’d feel so alive,
I’d feel so free,
With my wings…
