You think it's all it takes.

Sometimes you cry at night
Wishing to see him again
You wish he would hold you tight
And then the nightmares begin

You enter your world of sorrow
You look back at the pain
Wish there's another life you could borrow
And wish you could see him again

The devastating truth hits you
As you count the scars and dates
From the tearful day he left you
To the unmistaken fate

Yet you continue to stay strong
And cry only in the rain
Because you give up knowing he's gone
When he is just a picture in a frame


And you continue to be brave
As you stand upon his grave
