The reasons I hate you

I hate you for being dumped in the dark,
I hate you for leaving me sad
I hate you not loving me for me
I hate you that you don’t give yourself a chance
I hate the word hate,
It gives me sadness, not joy.
You try to get away but, it always comes back.
I hate you for not being the person you are,
I hate you from not standing by me,
Why won’t you listen to your heart?
I hear it pleading to be free
These are the reasons I hate you.
