Time Forgotten

09 Nov, 2013 07:46 PMStanding there, as the wind gently whips the hair Across your damp with tears face, and smudged with black yet delicately looking eyes, full of sorrow as air Slowly whispers secrets of the world forward then back The broken heart, can be heard in the deafening shout, Of the breeze. Autumn leaves can puncture your ever ending memories wrapped in doubt, As you picture the trees and the scene where he ran. The loss reveals what lay deep inside your mind, Those fractured flashbacks have yet something to show, As you hide them for someone else to find, In your already crippled mind, you see the bloody snow You see him fall, his body limp. You watch him lay. Sprawled on the cold snow, his breathing delaying. With every day, you still remember what he used to say Even if your visions are blurred, from endless crying. Far in the distance, away from the presence of others. There lays a secret that nobody knows, exists. The softness of doubt, and the long miles it covers, stretch carelessly along fresh scars on your wrists. You take a deep breath as October quickly settles, Many lives this year lost amongst many others unknown, You stumble, across you notice the dying rose petals, Which lay lifeless, as you approach the stone. Yet you know it's really his grave, though you repeat and muddle your brain, thinking up of excuses and blaming your heart, you long to not know the defeat As you gently place another flower and silently stand You remember the day, when death took him away And you realize that you cannot forget the past, Because he slipped away on that grey and blurred day. And every excuse soon tears apart, and never lasts The past carefully tears you, kills you inside, And you hold the pen and look back at words written Yet you hold, the darkest secrets of pain aside The wind whispers the meaningful words, Time Forgotten Time Forgotten...
