Wounds may come and go,
Pain is what we feel when we undergo,
They heal with time leaving scars,
They won’t explain,
The scars won’t explain the pain,
The pain of losing you.

When you met me you said "forever"
Now that you're gone I feel it was "never"
I cried a lot because it pained a lot,
My heart was filled with fears,
Face drenched with tears. 
They won’t explain,
Those tears won’t explain the pain,
The pain of losing you.

Trying to run from it,
I’m lost in numbness,
So numb that I barely speak,
Silence too is misunderstood sometimes,
It won’t explain,
This silence too won’t explain the pain,
The pain of losing you.

Even I won’t be able to explain it,
I’m not a poet, i don’t have words.
