While He Ran Onto It Six Times

Alone at last
We sit and drink cold champagne
Your smirk and laugh
your eyes wondering down my dress

I fake innocence
and laugh along
though your stupid jokes
truly bore me

I wonder, do you stare at all women like this?
You gap like a fish at my question

What?
Did you honestly think
that I wouldn't know
about your little affair

You sound so angry and hurt
 when my voice accused you
I almost felt bad for you;
almost.

Ohh look, you are pacing the room
saying I was the one at fault.
You are say I am the cheater
and lie only to get a divorce

What a fool! A fool of all fools, that you are.

You are yelling at me, and throwing around
my notebooks, my books, my glasses and keys
I would do that if I were you.
But you just laugh and ignore me

You move closer and I take a step back
You say that I can never leave you behind
You threaten and touch me
and I scream in your ear only to feel pain in my face

Ohh dear god, don't blame me for the blood,or the body of the man at my feet.
Ohh dear lord, please forgive me my sin, but I couldn't be with that man
Dear father, of all that is living, forgive me for killing my husband
forgive me for holding the knife, while he ran onto it six times.

Well that escalated quickly... I'd forgive her.
