I Died Yesterday
Boygene Borice
02 Sep, 2016 02:53 PMWhen you stood before me, Shining like the new moon, And shouted to me “NO!” I lost myself, Coz I never knew, That excess brightness is a needle to the eye. I still recall your architecture, How curved it was, Like a new born baby, So innocent to the eyes, And kind to the lust of the soul, But soar to the heart. I reminisce the way you, Curved your fingers into a fist, As if to defend an attacked slave, When I said, “I need you” Thinking it would pleasure you, But I saw the thunder in you. I got so feeble in my joints, When you shouted at me, With a voice like a hungry lion, “You worthless Idiot, you are not my type, I will rather mate a slave in Caribbean Island” “Or die single! But not you.” I am already no more, My soul is now tormenting in hell, I thought I will escape the trap of sin, But your rejection forced me, To throw my body to the sharks, I was so frail to hold unto the solicitude.
