Seeing What You Don't.

One day, a girl met a boy. They decided to go to the fields to spend some time together. She found out they had some things in common and that after a couple of hundred times of hanging out, she started to have strong feelings for this boy. Her head went spinning up towards the clouds. As their faces got closer and closer, her heart beating faster and faster, her love showing inside of her eyes. Yet to her and some other of their friends he seemed like he didn't know what he wanted. His mind and heart both confused and hurt from a past relationship, he tried to smile and acted as if everything was ok...but she could see past it. She became worried for him, all the stress he was/is in and all the fake smiles he would give out. Her heart hurt for him. As the time went on she saw that he seamed less and less happier. she realized this and her heart started to break. Feeling the pain he felt. He became distant more and more as the days went by. Every time she got the chance to look into his eyes she prayed she wouldn't see his pain, heart break, anger, confusion, or terror, but each time that's all she saw. With everyone noticing her feelings for him, they would ask her why she doesn't hang out with him or talk to him. Her answer would always be.. you just don't understand.
She asked a close friend what was it about him that made him like this. She was told that he is scared of being in relationships so he will try to not be in one. She not wanting to give up on him. Promised herself and him that she would always be there for him. Yet all this worrying about him has left her with weakness, stress, pain, and confusion. Nobody really sees this except her closest best friends. So She made it her goal to fake a smile, act like every thing is ok. However every time she sees him that wall she tried so hard to build up can always be taken down with just one look from him. Her heart just melts away. Although she isn't sure if she can do this, she still tries day after day. She may have to start over but she will. The most obvious thing about this situation is if he would say be by my side she would do it in a heart beat.
She was always able to look past him and see whats on the inside. She thinks he is afraid because she can see who he really is that not even he knows who it is. She, unlike anyone else is able to see him for what he truly is... a perfectly imperfect person.
