Okay, so I heard about this story from my mom because this includes her friends daughter.
Anyways, there were these 2 girls Rachel and Miranda (made up for their sake) and they were juniors in high school. They were in the top 5% of their class. Miranda being involved in dance and all kinds of sports, and with Rachel being involved in chorus, band, and student council they were 2 very well known girls. Everyone talked to them and none was mean and or hated them.

One day Miranda and Rachel decided to tell everyone their little secret that was just between them. They thought that because this was such a good year they can come out of the closet now. So they did, but they made sure that everyone knew they didn't like each other, they just liked girls. People started giving these girls mean looks, talking about them when they walked by and their parents wouldn't allow them any communication at all except for school in the hallways, because they didn't want to accept the fact that it was true. This had gone on for months and didn't stop. The girls finally got fed up and they started to act like they really did like each other because they had a plan, more like a pact. they had a suicide pact. Rachel and Miranda's parents found out that the girls were ''together'' and wanted to immidiatly put a stop to it. They met for dinner one night to talk about what was going on. The girls met up at Rachel's house and talked about their pact, why they did and why they did not want to do it. There was more reasons to do it then not to so they decided, they were going to commit suicide. They decided over dosing on pills is the least painful, so they did. First Rachel took the pills then Miranda did. They laid in Rachel's bed slowly but surely drifting into a sleep they knew would last forever, Miranda grabbed Rachel's hand right before they fell asleep and said I really did love you.. That was the end. Rachel's parents got home and immidiatley called 911 for an ambulance because she had seen the bottle of pills and a note that said, we overdosed, don't be sad, you did this to us. We were best friends since 2 and because we like the same sex you pull us apart and everyone treats us like were aliens. You being our parents should have accepted us the most. goodbye.

When Rachel and Miranda were brought to the hospital the doctors did everything they could to get the girls to come back to life. They did it. to one of them at least... Miranda woke up and grabbed Rachels hand because she thought they were together in heaven now, when really Miranda was in hell. Miranda shook and shook Rachel denying that the one she was in love with had died and their pact hadn't worked. Now Miranda was holding the hand of her dead best friend. Not only that but she was really in love with Rachel. to this day Miranda is still in a mental hospital for 2 reasons. 1 because of the attempt to commit suicide and 2 because she saw the girl she was in love with dead.
All this because people were assholes and not accepting.
