Dear Dad <3

Gabbie

13 Oct, 2011 07:24 PM

Dear Dad, I still remember that dark night. Your sister or my aunt was here to visit you. She came with your crippled step mom and her husband who loved you as a brother so much. They were laughing about stories until there was a screech of police cars outside. The Vibrant colors of red and blue filled the house through the windows. I was only about to be seven so my mom told me to hide in the room. I was really nosy i know, so i pressed my ear to the door. My hair got in my eyes but i had a feeling of what i was going to hear was going to be really important so i ignored it. I heard my mom footsteps go down the main hall and the click of the door opening. She screamed. I stood up but i thought of her getting... [Read More]

A December Faded

DC Martin

11 Mar, 2012 08:39 AM

A December Faded by D.C. Martin We must take hold and embrace the cold and bitter embers of the Decembers that we’ve made, for the January scars we wear will surely never fade. -Nightmares and Daydreams The FM knob had broken twice on the Zenith AM/FM Tune Master that sat next to the bed on a walnut colored nightstand. Among the pill bottles and various medications it towered in buzzing magnificence, reminding me of the monolith from 2001: A Space Odyssey. I picked up the radio and took a long and piercing look at the band selector knob. The superglue had not held; the knob looked as if it would crumble in my hand. I grabbed it between thumb and forefinger and gave it a turn. I was reminded of my favorite children’s cereal when I heard, Snap, Crackle, and then Pop. The knob disintegrated in my hand looking up... [Read More]

This is a true story. I am 16 years old then, I knew you at secondary school. Although we are of different genders, but we communicate well. We found that friends of other genders have their own best friends, and both of us had none, and without telling, we became best friends. Being best friends, we do things together like eating, playing and studying. I message her everyday, I call her everyday. I think of her everyday in my mind at night. I found out that I love her. But I did not tell her this, I do not want our friendship to end just because of this. So I kept my heart for two years. Then I heard others said that she had a boyfriend that was not my opponent at all. He is good in studies, tall and handsome and richer than me. I am both angry and... [Read More]

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening.. I was looking for sad stories so I could relate to them.. But after seeing how sad others' stories was.. I just couldn't stop crying.. Thank you guys and girls.. You opened my eyes.. The story I'm about to tell is true.. Believe it or not.. Once upon a time.. There was a college student studying in MCU.. He wasn't the most popular student.. Nor was he the most intelligent.. He was just like any other student.. He was friendly, religious, loyal and a class-clown.. He had a bestfriend who was still in High School.. They've been friends for two years.. The girl was very pretty, at least, that's how he saw her.. Whenever they we're together, they we're inseparable.. If you didn't know them, you'd think that they we're a couple.. The guy was in love with this girl ever since they met.. But he didn't have... [Read More]

This is a true story. I witnessed this happen but i am writing it in perspective of the boy. On June 14th 1996, Me and my twin sister were born. I was named Tim and she was named Audrey. We were close as we were little we would always play and share and have fun. As we got a bit older we were still as close as ever. One day we were sitting on a swing down by the lake by our house. Then she said "What happens when we grow older and we have other friends and we don't have time for each other." At that moment we made a pact that, every Saturday we would come down here and hang out and go swimming and have fun.We both agreed. As we got older our looks and personality became more obvious. She was the drop dead gorgeous popular girl... [Read More]

Maybe you're wondering why I'm naming the title the necklace.. well it all begun during my 15'th birthday, my boyfriend gave me a heart-shaped pendant necklace and it was his first time giving me a necklace. We'll we started going out for about 1 year and 5 months when I noticed that he was sad I asked him "whats the matter?" then he told me "nothing..." he smiled and kissed me at the cheek. I always stare at him. I have no idea why he is so depressed, we went to the store to buy stuff toys and I was so happy that he gave me a stuff toy it was Domo-kun! after the date he took me home and I asked him with the same question and this time I look straight into my eyes and asked him "why are you sad? is it because you cost all your... I never got to say it

Jake Correa

This is my first time on this site and after reading some of the sad experiences, it felt right to share mine. I'm currently 22 years and the 10 years passed without a day that I didn't think about my grandfather, Lorenzo. he died on Sept.9, 2011. I live in my mother's house and since she works abroad, my grandparents are the ones who are taking care of me. But ever since I was in pre-school, it was my grandfather who always brought and fetched me from school. My grandfather was a man of a few words and he never showed his love for his children or their kids. "Cari?o Brutal" as we call it or tough love. But he was a caring man but he showed it in his own way. On March 21, 1999. We just moved in to our new house and everyone was excited but granddad... [Read More]

Mark

Sadness

26 Sep, 2011 05:26 PM

I knew a boy named Mark he was the sweetest boy you could had met. He loved everybody and anybody the same way. I remember once when they had to do a project in class and he was the 1 who picked the mentally retarded child before he was left alone. Not once in the 2 years that I knew him had I ever seen him frowning. No matter what mood you were in as soon as he looked at you with that silly smile and look in his eyes like, "why are you sad" all your pain went away. He was a best friend..... It was on a Wednesday in September when I woke up late and my brother did also. We tried to get to school but the ways we'd normally take were blocked off. We didn't know what we should do and found it suspicious so we... [Read More]

One day, there's this girl that was very famous in school. She was very smart, beautiful, and sexy. All the boys in the school admired her. She was the cheer leader. But I was just a basketball bench player. The coach never even lets me play. This girl is named Abby. She was kind and sweet and obviously, every boy in the campus feels the same as me. We all love her. We all have a crush on her. Then one day, During the sportsfest of our school, we became teammates. We were both in the yellow team. I was excited about this. So I went up and did many things that will make her notice me, but still, she didn't. During the basketball game, we were short one player so I was picked to play. This was the championships, or the finals, and I delivered the winning shot. They... [Read More]

This is a true story which was told by a friend of mine who was 5 years older to me. He said that it happened in the year 2005 when i was still in class 10. He told me his friend whose name is Gareth was very happy with his girl friend Lisa. They would always spent time after class in a golf field near by. Every day Gareth would tell him new things about what they did, how they spend their day. He told told him he was in love with her and wanted to tell her when the time was right. He kept on waiting for the right time but, never got the opportunity to tell her. By the time he gathered enough courage it was too late, a letter came from the university he applied for long time back and he had to leave the next day.... [Read More]
