The names are hidden for some privacy reasons.. "Di***h" -The Boy, "Ar***a" -The Girl. -------------------------------- There lived a boy in India, who was jobless and wanted to get in a government job… Though he prepared well, he couldn’t clear any of the government exams. One year passed. He realized that he couldn’t compete with the North Indian aspirants, since they are very much aware of these government exams and also well trained accordingly…. In order to increase his competence level, he created an account in an online forum. He was very much determined and started to use the forum to his best. Days passed by… He found himself in a position where his competence level is way higher than his previous one. He realized that this forum would surely help him in getting a grade/scale- 1 government job. But he never thought it’ll also get him the love of his... [Read More]

My story started when I was at my junior year of my high school and everyday I would seat right at the end of the corner of our classroom and read a book. My family was always gone at night so I was practically always alone well I had a sister but she's always out (Which I didn't mind), I was always the shy and quiet one and had few friends. My life change when I was seated next to a new student in our class, he's name was Jared for me he was good-looking and really kind and after all we spent time with I suddenly fell in love with him. We kept talking, messing around in the class and always have a movie night together and for a minute I always thought it would stay like this but I was so WORNG. One of my friend who I hangout... Friends

"Nick?" my best friend, Nathan, whispered as he laid in the bed next to me. I didn't reply, but I believe he knew I was listening. "I don't want to die yet." It was the simplest statement I had ever heard him make. Nathan was always one to put things into complex terms and use as many words as possible to make his meaning as clear as glass. But this time, he didn't need any embellishments. "Neither do I," I wanted to say, but instead I just remained quiet. My fantasy was that we were both going to recover. The reality was that one of us wouldn't. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In second grade, my best friend was Ian Desmond. I had just moved to North Lake during the summer before the school year had started. On the first day of school, Ian stood out to me from the rest of the crowd... [Read More]

She was Amber

Jack

I met her one September night on a fairly popular dating site. She messaged me out of nowhere and we struck up a conversation. I don't know what it was about her, but she instantly had my full attention. We talked all night. At least 6 hours of delightful conversation. I was hooked. We met in person that morning. She was wonderful. Beautiful, funny, intelligent... everything I could have hoped for. Almost instantly we were inseparable. We never spent more than a day apart from the first moment. We spent many wonderful days in that fashion. She, meeting me right as I left work. Having breakfast together. Exploring our shared interests, learning the things we had in common, just enjoying the company of one another. In less than a month she was spending more time at my home than hers. I could not have been happier. One day, while we... [Read More]

Sticks and Clicks

Emelyn

My parents aren't home much. They never have been. My childhood, as far as I can remember, was a slew of babysitters of varying trustworthiness every night, every weekend, every day off, and every day of every summer. My mom liked to (still likes to) go out to bars and casinos, so my dad took her to wherever suited her fancy that evening to make sure she didn't get into any big trouble or cheat on him. I've never bothered to ask them about their escapades, since they always come home at almost two in the morning, and since I don't particularly care to know. Most of the time, it was just me and my sister, Halle, at home with some stranger who was content to sit on the couch with a bag of potato chips and watch TV. That was fine with us, too. If there was enough light... [Read More]

Some people are born lucky ..

nikhil only

Some people are born lucky to enjoy their love life but some people are not. In my teen age, I was in love with my neighbor who was happened to be my schoolmate also. People say falling in love is itself a matter of good luck. But it was not true in my case. Most of my time, I used to pass in her sweet company .we were so involved that years passed by very swiftly .once we overheard our moms talking about our marriage. So we were happy that we would be going to pass our rest of life together. Time drifted on we became more familiar with each other .I learnt that she had a lot of habits and traits like me. I loved everything about her like her habits, her incredible faith in god. When she was with me, life was beautiful and useful. We were so... [Read More]

False Friendship

Daniel

15 Feb, 2015 11:29 AM

Before i submit this I would like you to know this is my first time doing something like this and what I am about to write may seem pathetic but oh well. We had been friends for a long time, 9 years if I remember correctly. We first met at a party my cousin had invited me to, I was standing awkwardly in the corner being the only stranger at this party and he came over and started talking to me. We got on well, we were both into pretty much the same things, similar movies, video games, comic books, fascination for weapons, cosplay, all that nerdy stuff. We exchanged numbers and decided to hang out later. At this point in time we were both still in our third year at high school so we had our own friends but hung out as often as we could. When high school... [Read More]

Once upon a time, there was a little girl, who wanted to become a singer. She was a chubby little thing, small, not exactly that bright. she got bullied a lot. No one stood up for her. They thought she deserved it. That this ugly little chubby girl was nothing special. The girl became an anorexic. Still, they thought she was ugly. that was reason enough. They didn't know that when she got home, her mother was always drunk, or that her dad was cheating on her mom every chance he got spending his money on some cheap whore. The girl became skinny. Then, she got a text message, from a friend saying, that he liked her, that he was just too scared to say it before. He said to meet him by the school, on a Saturday. She believed in him. She thought she would finally have someone that... [Read More]

In high school I always felt like a mis fit I didn't think I fit in anywhere I was always in the higher classes as my school ranked students by their grades.. I often look among my classmates and said to myself I didn't belong here anyways I learned to cope n tried to always be on top.. Which I often succeed to do up until 10th grade.. I was a shy, quiet and some may say weird girl I had few good friends and some associates anyways in the 10th grade I started changing I wore better hairstyles and uniform got tighter and short my school had rules and short shirts were not allowed.. The only reason I did all of this was to impress a boy named Kenny that boy had a real talent when it comes on to music.. I was obsessed at that time I called... [Read More]

Even the Strongest Walls Break

Shaun Hunter

05 Feb, 2015 04:26 AM

First off I have to apologize for any mistakes throughout my story. Typing while crying is really something. Especially with my mind buzzing every second. Nonetheless, I will attempt to share my story. Although I cannot express how I really feel, as there are no words in the human language that can describe my pain, I will share the journey I never once regretted and never will. My purpose of writing this is mainly to get this off my chest although I doubt I will see much of a result. I suppose I should stop stalling and start; It's very painful to recall these memories. How shall I put this? I'll start off from the very beginning. My name is Shaun. I have lived in many places: Australia, England, the US... so naturally, I must leave friends behind. Why did I move so much? Well, my parents' jobs required us... [Read More]
