Andrew

In the sixth grade, I remember meeting and seeing my first love. His name was Andrew, and he was two years older than me (an 8th grader at the time). At first he was just my harmless middle school crush, but then he ended up becoming something much more. I wanted him so badly, I could taste it. Every day I would go out of my way to get a glimpse of him. I remember the first day he ever said my name ( he also happened to be student body president, so he made announcements on the intercom every day). He congratulated me over the intercom for doing well on the track team. I was giddy. Months passed, and I remained infatuated. During the last week of school, all of the students wore plain white t- shirts so their fellow classmates could sign them with markers. I giggled as... [Read More]

Oh, why, baby, why?

As the decades pass, I still recall the wonderful memories I shared with my wife. As a matter of fact, I still smell her scent and feel her sense of life in this very room where we shared our love. And yes, dammit, I still call her my wife. I loved her as much as one being can love another! I'm sixty-nine years old; she died when I was thirty-four. As it stands, I still remember the painful night my lover left me. . . It was a night filled with peculiarities; my sister gave birth prematurely, my car- which had never failed me- wasn't igniting, and on top of this, my wife was nagging me. "Honey," she said, "go see your sister. You're family. You have to go." I didn't want to because it was a 4-hour drive, and my car wasn't even starting! "Look," I said, "the car... [Read More]

Today is October 25, 2011. 55 days ago, I said "Yes, I'll be your girlfriend." to this guy whom I loved so much with all my heart. Well, I had my heart broken with other guys before I met him, but when I fell for him, I was not afraid to take a chance again and faithfully hold on to the idea that everything will be alright. He somehow made my days so much brighter and for a month, everything went smoothly. Communication was there. Although we're not able to see each other everyday, we still send text messages to each other or sometimes talk to each other over the phone. And when we get the chance to see each other, every moment was the best. Full of sweetness and happiness and all that loving stuff. I loved him so dearly, and I can feel he does too. In short,... Outcast

May

24 Oct, 2011 07:08 PM

I panicked as the line of Teachers and Students advanced on me, pointing accusing fingers in my direction. As they tried to pry the sleeping baby out of my arms, I was suddenly overcome with the need to protect the precious object that I held in my frail hands. I was jarred awake by a knock at my door. Come in! I had called out. My Mother came in and lightly sat on my bed. Grabbing her pony tail, she said in a solemn tone I think it's time to tell your Father. Her face was drawn with worry. With that look on that face, the beauty, that her wrinkles usually gave her, was not to be found. I felt panicked at her words, my Father wouldn't understand like she did, so I pictured the worst. I went to argue, but she wouldn't allow it. Enough May. Your Father is... [Read More]

It was just like the initial explosion of fireworks. Your eyes widen, your break gets caught, the colors take over your vision, and you take an inevitable step back. That's how it was when I met Sean. I don't know if it was those blue jeans, or his t-shirt. Well, maybe it was that smile, or those crystal blue eyes. He brought the sunshine to me even at midnight, with a smile that always reaches his eyes. I could tell you every detail, every dream, every hope, but that isn't what love is. Love is the feelings, oh those feelings. You could know every aspect about that person, but that isn't what love is. I mean, he does stand with his hands in his pockets, or with his ankles crossed slightly leaning back, He does sing to every song he hears, he did sing to me before. Hell, he played... [Read More]

"But... I love him." Was my only reason. I met him when I was young. Yes, we were childhood friends, rivals in stuff, but we've developed feelings for each other. I didn't know how, but it just happened... The day when he told me he love me was the day I felt like I was in heaven. I felt so nervous, so excited, so happy, so... loved. I was never close with anyone else, my mom didn't want a daughter, my dad was always busy with his job, my brother didn't want a sister like me. My best friends had a lot of things to do since they were rich. I have a lot of best friends; well, to be exact, we are 7 in our circle of friends. He was there, along with the 3 other boys in our group, and me along with the 2 other girls. We... [Read More]

Dear Dad <3

Gabbie

Dear Dad, I still remember that dark night. Your sister or my aunt was here to visit you. She came with your crippled step mom and her husband who loved you as a brother so much. They were laughing about stories until there was a screech of police cars outside. The Vibrant colors of red and blue filled the house through the windows. I was only about to be seven so my mom told me to hide in the room. I was really nosy i know, so i pressed my ear to the door. My hair got in my eyes but i had a feeling of what i was going to hear was going to be really important so i ignored it. I heard my mom footsteps go down the main hall and the click of the door opening. She screamed. I stood up but i thought of her getting... [Read More]

A December Faded

DC Martin

11 Mar, 2012 08:39 AM

A December Faded by D.C. Martin We must take hold and embrace the cold and bitter embers of the Decembers that we’ve made, for the January scars we wear will surely never fade. -Nightmares and Daydreams The FM knob had broken twice on the Zenith AM/FM Tune Master that sat next to the bed on a walnut colored nightstand. Among the pill bottles and various medications it towered in buzzing magnificence, reminding me of the monolith from 2001: A Space Odyssey. I picked up the radio and took a long and piercing look at the band selector knob. The superglue had not held; the knob looked as if it would crumble in my hand. I grabbed it between thumb and forefinger and gave it a turn. I was reminded of my favorite children’s cereal when I heard, Snap, Crackle, and then Pop. The knob disintegrated in my hand looking up... [Read More]

I went through so much with guys (9 guys)and so much pain but i never loved anyone this much. All those guys never really loved me, cared for me, understand me, or any other things. I dated so many guys because i was too nice to turn them down and end up caring for them more then they did for me. Also i figured that most of them dated me for my looks/body. It just funny how guys go for girls with a nice body. Well, anyways i stop searching and stop being nice. And then this guy came along... His name is Tou Vang, pronounce as the number 2, and he was new to the school. Honestly when i first met him i thought he was ugly lol but he's a really funny guy. My close friends (Was my close friends) liked him or thought he was really cute... [Read More]

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening.. I was looking for sad stories so I could relate to them.. But after seeing how sad others' stories was.. I just couldn't stop crying.. Thank you guys and girls.. You opened my eyes.. The story I'm about to tell is true.. Believe it or not.. Once upon a time.. There was a college student studying in MCU.. He wasn't the most popular student.. Nor was he the most intelligent.. He was just like any other student.. He was friendly, religious, loyal and a class-clown.. He had a bestfriend who was still in High School.. They've been friends for two years.. The girl was very pretty, at least, that's how he saw her.. Whenever they we're together, they we're inseparable.. If you didn't know them, you'd think that they we're a couple.. The guy was in love with this girl ever since they met.. But he didn't have... [Read More]
