Even the Strongest Walls Break

Shaun Hunter

05 Feb, 2015 04:26 AM

First off I have to apologize for any mistakes throughout my story. Typing while crying is really something. Especially with my mind buzzing every second. Nonetheless, I will attempt to share my story. Although I cannot express how I really feel, as there are no words in the human language that can describe my pain, I will share the journey I never once regretted and never will. My purpose of writing this is mainly to get this off my chest although I doubt I will see much of a result. I suppose I should stop stalling and start; It's very painful to recall these memories. How shall I put this? I'll start off from the very beginning. My name is Shaun. I have lived in many places: Australia, England, the US... so naturally, I must leave friends behind. Why did I move so much? Well, my parents' jobs required us... [Read More]

Nyle..

Aya Kasim

17 Jan, 2015 04:45 PM

These risen gates wont open up for me but these broken wings will heal if I see you one more time. I'm screaming for life. I want you to show me what its like to be the last one standing on earth. Show me what's wrong or right. Fear. But I want to see you, I want you to be real, standing in front of me.. all the things you said are running through my head. Just you Nyle.. no one else. One minute I was standing.. next thing I knew I was on my knees, begging to see you on this place we call earth, I'm still grieving that you're gone. I'm grieving for the people I once lost and loved, I want you to see me one more time while I still exist, because i know I'll never make it to heaven. My heart and soul can't take... [Read More]

Wake up

AshleyAnn Petersen

13 Jan, 2015 07:49 PM

It was dark outside. Alura and her brother Kane were walking home from the football game. Alura had brown hair and blue eyes. Kane had black hair green eyes. Alura was wearing faded blue jeans and a avenged seven-fold t-shirt. Her brother was in a black blouse and dress pants. He walked quietly next to his little sister. A car was zooming by and the driver didn't see Kane and Alura walking. Kane pushed Alura out of the way and got hit by the car. When Alura realized what happened she tried to get up. But her waist ached. She put her hand on her waist and she had a piece of glass stuck in her side. She removed it and crawled over to her brother. The driver was unconscious. Kane was as still as a statue. "Kane?" Alura said when she reached him. "Kane!? Wake up." She waited for... [Read More]

Little Brother

Ai Shinamori

31 Dec, 2014 02:16 AM

My dearest little brother. How I loved you so. Those times we spent together causing mischief, playing games, laughing...I cherish them. Why did it have to happen? That one fateful day. We had a fight. Even now, I can still remember it. I had become very busy and couldn't hang out with you like I used to. I was worried about school work too much to pay any attention to you. Mom had just gotten a new job so we were home alone most of the time. I remember sometimes looking out my window to get a view of the front lawn, and there you'd be. Sitting alone in the grass. Waiting for mom and dad to come home from work. It made me sad, seeing you alone all the time. But I had work to do, so I didn't do anything about it. That day, I had just gotten home... [Read More]

Ghostly Tale

Silence

25 Dec, 2014 08:43 PM

I am a ghost, a mere soul drifting in-between the dead and alive. A vague memory existent in the hearts and minds of many; however I never obtained the chance, never opened my eyes wide enough to discern how significant my presence once was... An unusual emptiness divulged as doleful faces began to appear at the door. "Please...can you all, take a seat" a weary voice maffled, as individuals gradually began to amble into the sombre Science room. I stood silently, contemplating the countless mournful faces, with an intense sense of bewail. I focused generally on the heartache which had diffused like cancer among the numerous contented faces I formerly knew. The many "contented" faces that formerly knew me... Patiently, our teacher stood amid the room, waiting until every grave face had settled down into their seats before uttering a 'respectful' oration to introduce the lesson. I don't quite recall... where is dad...

mia

14 Nov, 2014 08:07 AM

A young girl grew up without a father. She smiled happily every day, but inside she was dying. Everywhere she looked, there was a happy, full family. A baby, mom, and dad. It was complete. They were happy. But not in her world. There was only her and her mom. At school, they would have father-daughter dances. The girl would always stay home. Her mom always told her that she was her "mom and dad." Eventually, she got curious. She wanted to know who her dad was. She walked up to her mom in her room and shifted nervously. "Mom?" The little girl asked. Of course the mother looked up. "Yes baby?" "Where's my dad?" The mother's eyes widened, before they started to tear up. The little girl was eight by this time. It scarred her. That night, when the girl laid in her mom's bed, and tried her best... [Read More]

The scent of roses and women’s perfume filled the air. As I entered the restaurant, tears started forming in my eyes. I’m a man I can’t cry. Whatever, I don't care, there’s good enough of a reason for me to cry. The waitress welcomed me. I asked for a table for 2, and told the waitress that she was coming, she was on her way. The waitress nodded and looked at my eyes. “Sir, are you alright?” No. “Yeah, Yeah, I’m fine.” No. “Uh actually, miss, may I choose a table to sit at? It would mean very much to me.” It really would. “Uhh… okay. Which table would you like to sit at?” I led her to the table I sat on that very night. “But sir, I’m not sure… that’s a family table…” “Please, I’ll pay extra. It would mean so much if I could.” “Uhh… okay. Would... [Read More]

I just didn't know.

Madeline

I met her in second grade. She was cute and funny and nice and everything that a best friend could be. By the way if you're wondering, no I'm not a guy writing about a girl, I'm and girl writing about her best friend. We were in the same class and our teachers put us together for a project. And that's pretty much how we met. I have so many good memories with her. She was amazing. we grew older, and soon started middle school. She was becoming beautiful, and sometimes I was so jealous. She always got all the guys, and was probably the most perfect, most luckiest girl. In 8th grade, something changed. We weren't hanging out as much, and we got into small little fights. I thought it was just whatever. Soon enough we started high school. She started doing things I thought she'd never do. In... [Read More]

So my story starts with a boy and girl. Their names are Danny and Jodie. Jodie is from Australia and recently moved to California, America. Jodie moved into Danny’s school and that’s when it all started. “Err.. Who’s that girl over there?” Lana Said with disgust in her voice. “Is she with Danny?” Lana pronounced. Shannon replied “I think that is Danny, He is getting a bit too comfy around her, you should stop it. After all he is your boyfriend” Lana didn’t reply, she just walked over to the mouldy water fountain where her boyfriend and his new friend were hanging out at. “Danny!” Danny looked round, Scared about what his eyes were going to see. His faced dropped when he realized it was his over protective girlfriend. He just walked towards her; his heart was beating out of his chest. He didn’t want Lana to get the wrong... [Read More]
