The Suicide Note

22nd September 2014, I am not holding anyone responsible for what I have done, nor am I blaming anyone who may happen to be reading this. Furthermore, I want to avoid any feeling of guilt or upset. There was no way you could have saved me, nor was there a way you could have possibly known; My mind has been set and I was determined to achieve this end result. I disguised my plans quite well, I just needed to find the right time and the right way, and now that you are reading this, it seems that I have found it. I don't want anyone to feel that I did this because I was weak and tired, no I just felt out of place, like a burden, or more like a failure; constantly feeling hopeless and more often than not, experiencing loneliness. But the feeling has been, until recently,... [Read More]

I didn't see her. I just heard the scream. I can't imagine anyone else would have recognised her scream, but I had been listening to her every day since we were five. I'd heard her scream before. Not often, but once or twice over the years. I was in the middle of an exam, near the end of the year in the eleventh grade when I heard that scream, and the last time I would ever hear her speak. I ran without thinking. I ran out of the classroom (completely ignoring my teacher as I passed) and down the stairs. The closest stairs were the ones that ran down the centre of the school. Had I been looking, I would have seen that the door to the roof was unlocked. Had I been looking, I would have immediately blamed myself. I found the combination to the door to the roof... Depressing

There once was a child named Hope, and she was in the 3rd grade. Hope always was a happy child...she was kind to others, loved life and got very good grades. One day she walked in on her mother on the edge of her bed crying, and asked her what had happened. Her mom looked at her and patted the place next to her. Hope sat down and looked up at her mother wide-eyed and whispered softly, "What happened, Mama?" Her mom gently held Hope's hand and mumbled, "It's Daddy..." her mother suddenly burst out crying and hugged Hope. "Daddy got in a car accident, Baby...he didn't make it..." Hope didn't say anything...when her mother let go, Hope had a single tear streaming down her face. After that, Hope never talked to anyone at school, her grades went downhill and so did her happiness...finally at the age of 16, her... [Read More]

Last Love

There I was standing there in front of my love, my world, the light on the street lamb shinning up on us, making everything else dark. Her hair slowly moving because of the chilled wind, I looked into her eyes and saw someone new. Hearing the words “it’s over” from her lips broke me inside, a tear rolled down her face, reminding me of all the memories we had together. I turned cold, I couldn't feel that warmth within me, everything was dark, the outside, the inside, I had let the darkness completely consume me, she took my cold hand in her hand on last time, held it tight one last time, looked me the eyes, gave me one last kiss on the cheek and turned around. It had started to rain, as if earth itself was crying, pouring down on me, the rain hid my tears, as she walked... [Read More]

Life IS Death

A few days ago, on the 29th May, my cat brought in a bird smaller than a ping-pong ball. I could barely hold it in my finger since I feared of crushing it. Now after some research I found out that it was a house wren fledgling. I went outside to look for its parents but I didn't see any nest or any wrens nearby. At first it was paralyzed from being in a cats warm mouth. However when I picked it up it attempted to fly. When I finally let go it flew out of my hands and unto the curtain, then madly went flying up the stairs and rested on a curtain like material I have hung over the stairway. That's where I caught it gently. I put it into a box and kept it warm. Of course it was very lively and wanted to get out. However,... [Read More]

Love is

Ashley Coulson

30 Mar, 2014 04:59 PM

I had three friends. Eric, Cathleen, Carol. Eric was chased by all the girls in our high school. Cathlyn was one of those popular girls. Cheerleader, sexy, and stylish. Carol was just one of those plain and average girls but still awfully pretty. Cathlyn and Carol were both totally crazy and wacko over Eric. Cathlyn didn't have to do anything to attract Eric, for she was already attractive enough. Carol on the other hand, showered Eric with love and care. Carol wasn't ugly at all. In fact, she looked sweet and pleasant. However, she wasn't a cheerleader and she didn't wear spaghetti-straps or tubes. So like everyone expected, Eric chose Cathleen. While Cathleen was labelled as the cool and attractive type, Carol was just one ordinary and plain girl. Eric always insulted Carol. He was always telling her what a 'Plain Jane' she was and how dumb she looked. It... [Read More]

Dear Agony Let Me Go!

To Everyone I Knew, I don't know what to feel anymore. One minute he's nice, the next he ignores me and acts as if I'm not there. I feel confused and hurt by his actions yet I knew what to expect all along. It hurts to be the wise one who gives useful advice to others yet the one who cannot benefit from that advice. I am beaten down by those questions which echo in my head, exploding with every heart beat. What do i do now? I hide away my suicidal thoughts, so no one knows when to expect me gone, dead. I won't tell anyone. If I die, I'll leave alone in silence. It would be better off that way. He wouldn't care though, so I might aswell ignore him back, when he holds my dead hand, I won't reply. Those screams for help linger in my soul.... [Read More]

A haunting death

Meena

I never would have guessed that my best friend, the happiest and nicest looking guy i had ever met, was actually depressed and suicidal. When he would talk to me he would brighten my day and make me feel special and loved, something that no one else has ever been able to do. He helped me forget any problem I had. He even helped me with the worse break up of my life, where my ex mentally bullied and tormented me for months because I broke up with him, after he cheated on me with my best friend and turned all my friends against me after our previous breakups which always came from him because I wasn't following his every move like he wanted me to. My best friend didn't live in the same country as I did but since his father was from here, he came to visit every... [Read More]

The Last Words Angel Fawn *I adapted this to fit more with my story, respects all paid to Angel Fawn!!!* It's been a while since I remembered him. My brother Chris was 16, he had lung cancer. He was growing weaker and weaker, he coughed and coughed and breathing was becoming hard for him. Very hard... He couldn’t stop coughing, (*cough, cough, cough*) the sweet sound of his voice swept out of his pain filled body, letting me hope. Hope that he’d live. The doctor’s had told us that he had months to live. I remember back when we were just kids. Mom took us out to the dandelion field behind our park and some kids were playing tag through the meadow. The light blowing through the air flew directly into our hearts. “Hey ugly,” one kid yelled. I looked up. “Yeah you ugly! You and your cripple brother!” Another... [Read More]
