Never thought I would fall in love with a serial killer. He was my high school sweetheart,My handsome husband, my boo....and my tear in my heart. I'm an idiot for falling in love with him I wish I never spoke to him, or had kids with him or even looked at him. I guess it's because of my bad luck I fell in love with him. I don't exactly feel in love with him no more I just feel so sick. The day I married him it was amazing I felt like I'm going to die happy and live with hope and happiness forever. Our honey moon was a tropical breeze in the Bahamas it was beautiful and charming. We spent almost ten thousand in it but it so worth it. Almost worth it. We relaxed and had fun. Two months flew being married it was great. We never fought... [Read More]

Broken Up

I remember a boy. I remember a boy with bright blue eyes rimmed with dark, heavy eyelashes. I remember a boy with feathery kisses and soothing hands. I remember another boy. I remember me. I remember my sparkling green eyes and plump lips. I remember my flaws and faults. I remember my willingness. "God, you're so gay," he'd whisper teasingly in between kisses. "Yeah, gay for you," I'd reply, breathless from the work his hands were doing underneath the covers. He solved my problems, my secret anger management issues. He'd stroke my back calmly and whisper in my ear how much he loved me until my breathing evened out. He made sure I wouldn't hit anyone else with no reason. And because I loved him, oh-so-deeply with my heart attached to his, I obeyed. I behaved myself and ignored what others said, even if they tried to provoke me. All... [Read More]

True love

She pulled her sleeve down and looked into the mirror. She asked herself, "Why me, why did he have to choose me?" She walked to her bedroom and laid on her bed silent and still. She pulled her sleeve up again and ran her finger up and down the bloody newly made cuts on her arm. She found her blade, pulled up her shirt, and started cutting her slim stomach from her ribs and down to her waist. Blood poured out of her. Just then her mom came into her room, because she had heard her crying, she walked over to her bleeding daughter asking, "What the hell did you do?!" She replied, "I...I cut myself, be...because I was... Uh raped..." Her mom slapped her until she was out of breath. She walked it of the room with anger in her eyes. She came back into the room with a... [Read More]

The Oblivious

I suppose in my life, I've been pretty lucky. I live in a house, I have dogs and friends and I go to school. Yet, as many people do, I looked for more. I yearned for danger and not the infinity of routine. A boy met me, and I met him. The next 5 years were hectic because we were oblivious to the fact that we were not a compatible couple, or even friends really. We were destructive and abusive in so many ways. We were never even officially a couple, we were people who loved each other but couldn't stand commitment. He fell in love with another woman, I fell in love with another man. We drifted after awhile, though I should have seen love cannot drift so easily, but I was naive. Even though we saw other people, we still loved each other. By coincidence we saw each... [Read More]

Have you ever felt so alone and useless? It is a horrible feeling. I used to feel so alive in the 6th grade. In the fall of the 6th grade I met my first boyfriend and I guess love. His name was Alvin Hernandez. He had mesmerizing eyes and a beautiful smile. He was perfect to me. He wrote me a note in Science class one day that said. "Hey pretty girl. I think you're beautiful. I know this seams creepy. But would you please be my girlfriend?" When I received the note I actually rolled my eyes because in the 6th grade boys always said stuff like that then they embarrass you in front of the whole class. At the end of class I walked up to him and said. "Are you lying?" He looked confused and said "Huh?" Then I showed him the note. He smiled at me... [Read More]

Victims Of A Cold-Blooded Killer

It was June 19th, 2008. It was warm, bright, and not raining for once. After getting off the phone with my friend Vivian, I put my shoes on and and began to walk to her house, ready to see what she'd said she wanted to show me. What I saw when I got there was more horrific than either of us could have imagined. I ran in the door to see Vivian laying on the ground on her stomach, hands behind her head. A man, about 40 years old, was holding her at gunpoint. I grabbed her home phone and attempted to call for help. The man, keen on discouraging me, pivoted on his left leg and pointed the gun at my head. I distracted him just long enough to make a 911 call. Before I could call my parents to come over, the man returned and fired his gun... [Read More]
